Terms and Conditions

Superior Author Services (SAS) is intended to be a place where independent authors and traditional authors can receive quality services at a reasonable price. We, as employees of SAS, are a part of the community of readers, reviewers, authors, publishers, editors, and the rest of the independent publishing community. Our purpose is to not only ensure that our author’s work is the best it can possibly be, but also to expose it to readers, bloggers, and the rest of the community in the most professional and respectful way. Our hope is that no matter how you fit, or don’t fit, into our picture that you come and experience the amazing things we all have to offer.

All content found within the pages of SAS is subject to copyright laws. Use or reproduction of any of the content herein is explicitly forbidden unless specific consent is obtained from the holder of the copyright. This includes, but is not limited to: blitzes, cover reveals, blog tours, any and all graphics, pictures, articles, or any other posts. Please contact us directly if you would like to use any of our content. If use of content is permitted, it can only be used for the specific purpose requested.

Although the quality of our services is guaranteed, it is imperative that all customers realize that if there are indeed errors, a resolution process must first be attempted before any refunds can be discussed. Our main goal is to make sure you get what you want and expect. Therefore, we will initially mediate a solution with you to try and reach the quality we want to be known for. If after that one to two-week mediation period, you are still unsatisfied with the services you have received, a partial refund will be given based on your individual services. Please note, a full refund will never be given as a lot of time and effort goes into the work we do. You will be notified ahead of time what the refundable portion of your bill is and which part will not be returned to you if that is indeed what ends up happening.

SAS does not guarantee in any way the accuracy, completeness, and validity of any final product produced herein. SAS accepts no liability for any errors, omissions, or representations. SAS makes no claim on the rights of any materials submitted in the form of materials provided to us in conjunction with services offered herein. The authors of such material are responsible for assuring the material provided by them is free of any copyright infringements, contractual or other legal obligation, and that the author has, maintains, and exercises full and unrestricted rights to the material submitted.
The following rules apply to clients with applicable services:

  • Any and all services requiring access to a review copy must be provided to us a month before it is needed. Review copies are required in e-pub, PDF, and mobi formats to make access to all bloggers sufficient.
  • In addition to our typical refund policy, when it comes to blog tours, blitzes, cover reveal or anything requiring time planning, once that process has begun there will be no refunds unless indicated herein.
  • Due to the time and effort that goes into booking a book tour, we ask that you do not book your tour with another tour host until after 30 days has passed. Using multiple tour companies can affect how successful the tour ends up being.
  • Payment in full is required before any and all services are rendered as aforementioned. When it comes to any promotional services such as blitzes, blog tours and such, the payment must be made one month in advance due mainly to the amount of administrative work that goes into the planning of such events.
  • If said payments are not received in time, all of the administrative planning will cease immediately until payment is received – which will delay planning and dates.
  • We are not responsible for any missed stops on any tour. Although we try our hardest to ensure that all of your services meet the highest expectations, we have no control over any unexpected events that may occur on the part of the blogger or their staff. If this does happen, we will attempt to make sure that some sort of promotion is done by that blogger.
  • We must also caution that not all bloggers will choose to write a review if they feel the material doesn’t reach a 3 or higher mark on their review scale. If that is the case, again, we will attempt to see if they’ll be willing to do some sort of promotion.
  • All payments for services will be due upon receipt of Paypal invoice. This is non-negotiable. Any payments received after the due date will be subject to a 5-10% late fee. If there is a reason why payment cannot be made by the due date, please contact me and I will take it into consideration.
